At first I was frustrated that Minnesota has to get through OSU and Texas, but there's a tough wall of opponents those teams have to get through. I could see Georgia Tech handle Texas (not so confident about Marquette) and USC can beat OSU. I think Minnesota can get to the Elite 8.

The Six Rotations video podcast (Daniel Gillman and Mick Haley have varying predictions on MN. Daniel picks MN to beat TX, but Mick picks USC to beat MN. Not that it matters, just interesting.

It all depends on which MN team ahows up. I hope that MN gets Texas again. MN has changed a lot since they played earlier. Booth has improved and Davis/Gros are better than Huseman. Need Landfair to be the player she can be and for Wurcherer to be healthy.

No offense but I'm mildly perturbed when someone says "which MN team shows up".
Very true in September and October. Not so much anymore...

No surprise here and so well-deserved too- Landfair is the AVCA National Player of the Week.

I’d also like to think they could do better than 19 service errors in 4 sets. They actually outhit the Longhorns.

I’m going to go off on a tangent for a second. The local coverage has always been terrible especially considering how good the program has been over the years. Case in point, tonight’s 6’o clock news they actually talked about the Gophers entering the tournament. They showed two clips of weak tips, like how hard is it to find a clip of a kill? Nobody is going to see that and go, “oh that looks exciting I should check it out.” Of course there was no mention at all of Taylor receiving National POW either. Did they not even bother looking at their website or other social media before putting the piece together? Local media, DO BETTER!

She served 19 times and scored seven point on those 19 serves. That is a 0.632 sideout percent against. Utterly average.
