I wasn’t able to do so (online). Didn’t get an email with a code/link, and didn’t have any link automatically added when I logged into my account. I was able to call the Premium Ticket representative and get additional tickets, along with my endcourt seats (which we had been emailed about). The extra tix should be pretty good, so my outrage is minimal.

The Gophers will have to watch out for #6 Kailin Newsome who is averaging 4.17 kps.

Minnesota is making their 27th NCAA tournament appearance and 8th consecutive. The Golden Gophers are 197-117 (.627) in sets played, finishing Runner Up in 2004; 5 Final Fours (2003, 2009, 2015, 2016, 2019); 3 Elite Eights (2006, 2012, 2021); 11 Sweet Sixteens (1989, 1993, 1999, 2000, 2002, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2017, 2018, 2020-21 Spring).
Southeastern Louisiana is making their first NCAA tournament appearance.

Hopefully the banner problem is doubled soon though.

I hope these southern teams don’t mind the cold. FSU came up for the 2009 Regionals, and fans were complaining about the cold, and amazed that people would buy and eat ice cream in such conditions. Tabi Love's family was there, and told the FSU fans that they were enjoying the warm weather.

Mrs-JT has just tested positive for Covid. Because of this, sister-JT will not be coming up for the matches, and I will not be attending the matches either (even though I tested negative, at least for now.) Because of *that* I have two end-court premium chairbacks which I can’t use, and would love to sell. They are on the east end, where the Gopher locker room is, and where the team *normally* plays the first set (don’t know if that’s flipped for the tournament). Side-to-side wise, they are the seats closest to the team bench. I paid $35 for each seat (session.. covers all three matches) and would like to recover that. :/ Anyone want to sit *right* near the action? You will get to hear Matt and Pedro give advice/strategy. *Update* My neighbor was going with two of her kids (I got 3 seats for them in the chairbacks)… her hubby and their youngest kid are going to take advantage of my bad fortune, and make it a full family event.

At one of the preseason tournaments in the PAV there were some, um, discussions, between the ticket holders of the seats in section 4 and the people sitting in them. Apparently the visiting team fans were told that, during the first match, they could sit anywhere they wanted. Those of us who came early (and there were quite a few of us as the teams playing were well worth watching) had to ask them to move but some did not budge. We were there early enough that it was not a problem for us but others had to go find seats elsewhere and then come back to claim their seats when the match was over. It was very awkward and people were unhappy. We are headed down early - but if you show up late, after the first match starts, don't expect to get your premium seats until the second match starts. However, I hope that no one tells visiting teams they can sit anywhere. Those chairback seats are $$ and people who paid for them should get to sit in them for all the matches.

Shouldn’t be the case this time, because you ticket is for the day/session. For the pre-conference tournaments, they basically said that the first, non-Gopher match was free and not open to the public, but you could arrive and enter early with a ticket to the Gopher match. :/ At the B1G/PAC tournament, I (jokingly) tried using the “sit where you want” argument with the 2 people premium seats next to ours… because the PSU specialist, and several players, were standing at the back of the playing area, *inside* the sideline, completely blocking my view of anything but their butts. When our seat-neighbors insisted on sitting in their assigned seats, we stood, looked over their shoulders (barely), and muttered semi-audible comments/insults.
