She is a good setter but I would be shocked to see her get much playing time, if any. I think it’s more of a “wanted to play one year with her sister” type of thing. Or just MN grad programs.

I don’t think Ng or Mir Wucherer will really challenge Shaff for playing time, but it will be good to have them in the gym regardless.

Interesting stat: Taylor Landfair ranked fifth (almost fourth!) on the team in kills in 2021, in spite of her redshirting. 😳

She was pretty dang effective when she did play!

(I won’t get started on the middle production and how that factored into this statistic, lol.)

I just love the way Landfair moves. She’s very graceful and almost nonchalant when she plays. A gazelle-like athlete.

Even though it's a sloppy HS match, there's a lot of big arms on the floor. It's just crazy how much more physical the game is getting, and it's changing really quickly at the lower levels.

That was my thought while watching.... very hard to sit through and surprising to me for a varsity team
