That setter for Hanson’s team… yikes. That was my thought while watching.... very hard to sit through and surprising to me for a varsity team Well, keep in mind last fall a lot of teams had players out for covid or whatever. I have not idea if that is their regular setter or not, but it might not be. Anyway, I'm sure whoever it is really appreciates being called out on VT.

Number 9 is a libero in club, 18 is a freshman who is rapidly improving this club season and will likely run a 5-1 for them next season.

Anyway, I'm sure whoever it is really appreciates being called out on VT. 99.99% of high school setters haven’t even heard of VT. I agree that we should be kinder to our gophers because they represent our team and our negativity has had rough consequences in the past, but the assumption should not be that every vball player cares about what a bunch of randoms say about her play on a chat board.

It should be pretty easy to go one's entire life without ripping a high school girl on the internet, whether you think she'll see it or not. But if you want to rationalize the opposite, that's a character flaw that you need to leave with I suppose.

For anyone curious about Hanson, this HS match is pretty sloppy but definitely shows off her athleticism. Ps. The quality is better than a lot of BTN student U productions 😂 Not all the 10 balls to her in front row Her approach is nice to watch. Kinda floaty. Reminds me of Moser, which checks out for the type of athlete/play style they seem to share.

Setter Elise McGhie transfer to Minnesota. from where? Kansas. Unless I'm mistaken, she played a lot until Turner really hit her stride at the end of the season and took over.

Well this just got interesting. There has to be some behind the scenes stuff going on with one of our setters.

This move feels like either Ng got out of her LOI or the big one… Shaffmaster is transferring?
And not to speculate but if that is the case… feels like Minnesota missed a chance to get a big time setter like Blossom or Pukis.
