Out of curiosity, what don't you like about the Pav? The pav was just renovated and I love that we don’t share it with basketball. I don’t see this changing anytime soon. Me neither. I wouldn’t want it at the Barn either because that raised floor is wayyy too dangerous for volleyball (and honestly basketball too). I get the need for expansion to fit more fans though. Some of those seats behind the big pillars in the back are just silly. The women’s gymnastics program also uses the Pav and has a consistently strong ranked program that draws a fair amount of fans too. I wonder how they would feel about expansion for more seating and if that’s even possible? Maybe Hugh can pull a few strings in his Assistant AD position 😉

Both are true things but douglass9 had reservations about the Pav and I was wondering what they were. Having attended when Hebert used to do a match each season in the Barn, the sightlines don't seem to work for volleyball and it's an unfamiliar place for them to play so it's not really "home" (in addition to the raised floor danger. One year at the Barn, I remember thinking Daly Santana barely escaped serious injury).

Hope the chairbacks thin. Movin on up or down as the case is. There is no long term plan for the barn or pav. Lets be honest they are crap faculties. They need a new all purpose arena. (don't give me barn tradition because it's mostly losing) Out of curiosity, what don't you like about the Pav? The playing area is great but too many seats are obstructed. And, someone the unobstructed seats are not good.

It appears both Kenna Wucherer and Taylor Landfair are sticking around next year with the new coaching staff. Wucherer reposted a post from a Dinkytown apartment complex that said “Good luck to our future residents as they play in the sweet 16” and tagged Wucherer and Landfair. Wucherer wrote “next year 👀“ and tagged Landfair. instagram.com/stories/mckennawucherer/2988306469258259335?igshid=NDk5N2NlZjQ=Only major transfer candidate remaining in my mind is Wenaas or potentially Davis at this point. Can’t see Shaff or Booth transferring at this point. Potentially some bench players could leave, but appears the starters will largely remain intact next season.

Out of curiosity, what don't you like about the Pav? The playing area is great but too many seats are obstructed. And, someone the unobstructed seats are not good. Also... - The rise per run of the seating is fairly shallow. This does allow for better (or less-bad) legroom, it also rapidly puts the seating far away from the action.
- Another row of premium seats could probably sell.
- More seats in general would be a GoodThing(tm)
- Concessions are less than ideal, partly because the kitchen areas are over in Williams, not the Pav
I would love to see a remodeled (can't imagine "replaced" with the recent renovations) Pav. Not sure it's in any budget dream, though.

I feel pretty confident Wucherer and Landfair will be back. Unless they were referring to spring semester or potentially are coming back but not playing volleyball. Shaff and Booth, I guess anything could happen. Who knows.

2023 Season ticket information came out today: Preparation for the 2023 Volleyball season is already underway. Volleyball season ticket pricing for 2023 will have some adjustments. Tickets located in the 200 level (sections 201-206) will have no price change. Tickets located in sections 101-112 will now include a $50 per seat contribution. Tickets located in sections 2-6 will see an increase of $50 per ticket on their current per seat contribution. Was this information emailed to current season ticket holders or posted somewhere? It was in the email to current season ticket holders.

(don't give me barn tradition because it's mostly losing) I believe there is a waitlist for chair backs, and most in those seats are already paying $100 donation fee. It feels like the bench seats would be more likely affected by people balking at the extra fee.

Shaff and Booth, I guess anything could happen. Who knows. I believe Shaffmaster has an NIL deal, so that should help. My wife and I did our part to help keep Booth around, by complimenting her parents on their daughter's awesomeness and their enthusiastic cheering against UNI.

The pav has a lot of sight restricted seats. Bench seating. Not enough rest rooms for women. I have seen long lines. First season tickets we could not see a score board. Complained and they changed them. Its old and tired.

Shaff and Booth, I guess anything could happen. Who knows. I don't see Booth going anywhere. She is a Minnesota girl at heart and the reason for her picking the Gophers in the first place was that it felt like being home. As far as I know, Wucherer also has personal connections to Minnesota, so I didn't really expect that to change.
