Working fine for me. Not a great first set for us. Bostic has not looked good IMO. First match in a crowded environment though.

We lost 25-20. We had three or four serving errors and weren’t in system a lot. I don’t think our OH were set in rhythm but a couple times.

Down 12-15 in the second.
CSU is serving really tough and it’s working. Our setters have had a rough night so far. Babic just came in though but just set a rough ball on a free ball that led to the timeout.
CSU has a lefty setter who is aggressive and it’s isolating the pins - hopefully what Babic could give us in the future. They’re running a fast offense and it’s clean. They look good.
And lots of service errors. Sheesh.

I’m at the game - CSU season ticket holder but they don’t have a thread lol. For you heels fans, Babic just subbed for Bostic about 3-4pts ago. CSU up 17-14 in the 2nd

We just got waxed in the second set. Nothing looked good or worked. Our serve receive looks bad. Our defense is non existent against their offense right now. And a ton of service errors.
When we got some good passes early in the first set we looked good although Bostic wasn’t quite smooth.
Babic came in mid-second set and hasn’t looked great either. But, again, bad passes, too.
Lots of good weapons but two frosh setters.

Popping by to say WOW at how athletic UNC's middle are. When they can get a clean pass, CSU has no answer for them

I've watched Maddy May at tournaments and she makes some gnarly plays in the lib spot... adjusting to the speed and consistency at a high rate will probably be the only thing holding her back. Wouldn't be surprised to see her get a start here and there. If a freshman beats Wurl out for the libero spot, I’d be super impressed. Wurl may not be the flashiest lib, but she seems to have a rock solid mental fortitude. Consider me impressed! Or maybe a little underwhelmed by Wurl. |

Up 17-13 in the third and CSU takes their second TO.
Parker Austin came in for Swift and the bro switch has seemed to calm things down a bit. Austin is playing six rotations…
Less service errors has helped and I’ll say, Niego’s body language has changed versus the first two sets. She’s trying to take over.
