Heels on a mini run in the fourth set to force a CSU timeout. Again, seems like the team is more settled down.
I feel like Babic is tight and worried about messing up. It’s a weird feeling where I think she just needs to breath before setting… she just seems tight. Might be flashbacks of me coaching high school freshman in volleyball haha…
Miss Swifts blocking but Parker has been a calming presence.

Completely fell apart in the fourth. They went on about a 15-2 run at the end.
Young setters are going to be a problem this season but we knew that. However, hope they figure it out fast or we could find ourselves in a deep hole to dig out of.
This yo-yo-ing setters mid matches so much is going to be a problem though.

Yes both setters struggled tonight with set location… for most of the match they were setting way too tight to the pins. In the last set it seemed like they were trying to keep the ball off the net and overcompensated… |

Oh growing pains.....the setting is going to be interesting.....when its on we have multiple options. When it isnt we are massively bad. Both girls are talented, just going to take time.
Wurl being replaced by May isnt a surprise. I think May has fire Wurl doesnt show. Wurl also picked it up after getting the libero jersey yanked....
Hurts Shaff is nursing hee shoulder and not playing 6 rotations. We need her leadership.
Niego and Mogridge looked great.
2 new opportunities tomorrow!

I was wondering about Shaff. Noticed she was doing float serves at the scrimmage and being subbed out to serve today. Hope she recovers well… and soon!

I was glad to see Parker Austin get playing time. Has she been injured this season or did Sagula temporarily forget about her? |

Heels win 25-19, 25-19, and 25-17. Didn’t get to watch but stats show Babic set the entire match and was tied for third in kills with 5. The team hit .243, .345, and .296 so it seems like she settled in well after what looked to be a tough spot (we were trailing midway through the first by four or five).
Babic also led the team in digs with 7. Crazy. Shaff had 6, May and Diaz had 5.
Shaff and Niego with 12 kills apiece.
