I understand Louisville was undefeated but Bush is a better setter than Dilfer.... period
Dilfer deserves her spot but Bush got screwed.

My thoughts -
1. Lund & Rodriguez seem too high. They definitely deserve to be on a team, but not sure about 1st team.
2. I'm surprised by Grome, Grote & Monserez on 2nd team.
3. Koerber & Matthews should've been up on 2nd team.
4. Cleveland, Tealer & S. Gray should've been higher than HM.
5. Seems like BYU got the shaft this year. Only AA is Koerber on 3rd team. Yikes!

Also Bush/Cleveland as HM but Kipp/Baird as 2nd Team? That Erin Lindsey Chair spot must have pulled a lot of weight with that decision.

The only thing I don’t get is Kubic at 3rd team who hit .207 on the year over one of the likes of one of the Skinner sisters, especially Avery. Not a hate Nebraska statement but can’t believe the Jersey didn’t have something to do with that.

First team kinda seems ridiculous for Roddy. She’s been GREAT this year but there were better liberos. Also I LOVE Lund but first team ? Idk I wonder if they felt compelled to give Nebraska a First Team nod because Final Four. I feel this is almost certainly true. Which is why I was wondering why people were purely basing their conversations on stats. |
