Our semi-final match will be replayed today on ESPNU at 2 PM Central I'll start watching about 2:25 or so. There was a point in in the first set where we were up 13-11, and SD sent us over a free ball. Unfortunately, Molly couldn't put the ball down to give us some separation. So, instead of going up 14-11, it's 13-12, and it was tight the rest of the way.

Imagine Skinner getting two titles with different teams. She should transfer to Stanford next year for her third.

Hello, Texas fans. I've only been here about a year and stick mostly to the Kentucky threads, so you may not know me, but I come with a plea. I know we've butted heads in the past, but more binds us than separates us. We've both, at separate, distinct points, enjoyed the play of Madi Skinner, and S-E-C! S-E-C! S-E-C!, right? The subtle nuances of the cadence and accents of the letters is a little tricky, but I'm sure you'll get the hang of it. Anyway, that's not important. Let me get to the point:
You must beat Louisville. The future of the world is at stake.
In the aftermath of Louisville's last major D1 championship, a championship they won by ritualistically sacrificing a man's leg through use of advanced arcane blood magic, the world has descended into chaos. Within months, we lost beloved actor James Gandolfini and, within a year, Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 disappeared. These events should have been an omen, but the Cardinals, in their hubris and lust for power, didn't take heed. In the decade since, pestilence and disease have run rampant, killing tens of millions. The world economy is in crisis. The Doomsday Clock nears midnight. We are on the brink of complete ecological collapse. The queen of England died. None of this is coincidence. They tried to appease the gods by taking down the banner, but it was too late. The stone had already been thrown, the curse cast.
I cannot stress enough the catastrophic horror that will befall the world should Louisville win. A calamity from the skies. The center will not be able to hold, the blood-dimmed tide will be loosed and the ceremony of innocence drowned. Pandora is reaching for the box and only you, Texas VB, can swat her hands away and say, "No. Stop. The hell is wrong with you?" Texas, the world needs you.
May God save us all.

Honey badger don’t care. Honey badger don’t give a sh1t. In about an hour we will start the drive to Omaha. Regardless of what happens: This season started with a trip to San Marcos in the spring, a trip to TCU in the spring, a match vs Baylor in Gregory in the spring, a trip to Houston for Rice. I told my wife this is Logan’s last year and she has given us so much joy watching her play (aside from looking like 6’2 version of our daughter) the last 4 years and do we really want to miss a chance to see her play if he have a choice? I appreciate everything she gives on and off the court and will enjoy watching her one last time in a Texas jersey. She is a special player and person. Honey Badger don’t care but we do🤘 Are you bringing a Honey Badger poster? It's your last chance

That was very passionate. I think SEC fans in general might be surprised at how little we care about the SEC, and how much we look down on the conference as a whole, but maybe I end up being wrong about that. Joining is more about being practical about the future of college sports. In any case, Louisville has a very good team but they’ll have to play their best - even more so than Kentucky 2 years ago - to win it all. We’ll see how it goes.

This is going to be an interesting match up for us tbh. Watching the Pitt/Louisville match last night, it was obvious Pitt was suffering from two things: lack of terminal OH's and lack of strong backrow play (both passing and defense). The crazy thing is they still put themselves in a position to win the match, save for that fifth set lol.
We run a much quicker offense than Pitt so I'm interested to see we're able to run the offense. Defensively, the battle is going to be on the pins. Lazaro isn't as deceptive as Blossom is but that's because their offense is more predictable. That doesn't make it any easier to defend, but at least you know there's a good chance DeBeer or Chaussee is going to get the ball. We'll need to make some adjustments for Madi as Lazaro puts up a bigger block than Blossom does.
Save for the first set, the girls seemed to get into a really good flow for the match. I'm hoping that flow continues on into tomorrow's match. Louisville has slugged it out with their last two matches going the distance. Gotta imagine something has to give!
