Congratulations Texas on winning the national championship with six transfers, a great offense with so many weapons and the best 3 girl backcourt in the country for 2022. You looked experienced and very skilled in September and maintained the focus and drive through the tournament. I thought you were the best team in non-conference undoubtedly and it played out in the tournament too. A guess the best team in Texas history with that great backcourt, the unsung and difference maker for you in 2022. So well coached too.

Sooo happy for Akana & Caffey! Eggleston & O'neal too. I know Eggleston gets her deserved recognition, but O'neal also has a very inspiring story, and I'm really happy for her.

I fell in love with Texas VB in 2012 when I happened to turn on my TV and the Longhorns were playing Michigan in the national semifinals. I was just an itty bitty freshman Longhorn and little did I know that the next 10 years would be filled with so many highs and also so many heartbreaking lows. So so so happy and prpud of this team :-)
