a good player does not make a good coach. UH current program is proof of that Neither does a Head Coach, who has to get a lot of transfers, just to win a National Championship. Talk about a bought one. Can Elliot even develop players, that is a BIG QUESTION. For you. For me they all count. Don't care. |

No wonder, Texas has to go out get Transfers, cannot develop their own talent. Cause this just shows you that Texas does not know anything when it comes to volleyball. oh we know volleyball! We just won! Via the Transfer route. Cannot develop your own talent. How sad. The only way Texas can win a National Championship is via the Transfer portal. Can you imagine if there were no Transfer Portal, Texas would still be waiting to win a National Championship. |

I wonder how Skylar feels at this moment ? Happy she's a first team All American rather than a third team like Skinner. Happy she was a 6 rotation player. Bitter that she didn't win Pac 12 player of the year. Possibly driving off the other left pin who doesn't want to be her teammate any more. She has more important goals than competing for a national championship, and she has a better path to it at USC than at Texas. Obviously a win/win for all involved, but even if you're focused on more individual goals any competitor still wants to win. |

Obviously a win/win for all involved, but even if you're focused on more individual goals any competitor still wants to win. Some people are more willing to sacrifice their individual goals than others. That's not a bad thing per se. But it's tough at a program like Texas. I don't begrudge her going somewhere else. But there's zero chance she regrets her decision. Zero. |

Let me put it this way. Can anyone tell me, of the Top 15 teams, you take their Top 9 players on their team, how many are transfers. I can tell you maybe a couple, but not more then half of them, like Texas did. Is this the only way Texas can win a National Championship is via the Transfer Portal.
