So, if it’s true and it’s a scholarship player, do we go after Wenaas? Beason? Podraza? Someone else? i believe wenaas & podraza have directives for no contact while in the transfer portal...so these players may already know where they are going...or they just want the top tier teams contacting them only...this is going to get interesting |

I am talking aout Eric(her name just happens to be in the article for different reasons). UCLA just hired coach - Eric i believe was the frontrunner(i believe) for that job. now back to my original question, what's next for Eric(not Dawn)? JE has said many times that Eric has been approached several times over the years for some big jobs but he's turned interviews because he wants the quality of life he can get here in Austin. The last time JE said this he threw in a sly joke about the value of Eric's house earlier this Fall before interest rates went up and houses were crazy high priced.
At the tower lighting ceremony I think I saw one of his kids come over and hug him. The other one, when my daughter played club, on the weekends you could see him sitting in the stands as another volleyball dad watching his daughter's games. Eric's not moving on until JE retires or all of his kids are in college or maybe he's happy being an assistant and not having to deal with all of JE's problems.

if parra leaves please go to lsu (tj) or notre dame (salima) or texas a&m (she knows jaime from texas in '20) so she's taken care of...i guess it's most important she gets playing time...i've been driving for the last 2 days, what's up with wenaas & where's she going? I believe I saw Parra post something from a Notre Dame player a while back on her Instagram story. At the time it occurred to me that Rockwell might be interested if she entered the transfer portal. I remember her being pretty positive about Parra when she was a commentator. That was Jessica Brannan's (Texas' Volunteer Assistant Coach) daughter. Nothing to do with Notre Dame. |

According to another thread (not on volleytalk) that Mel has told many people close to her that since the announcement of the 2023 class that she was going to transfer. tbh it makes sense considering that no one in that class is shorter than 6'3. |

It’s confirmed that Mel is transferring but I met he was trolling about Devin. |
