It is on YouTube, but it is on an unlisted channel with link only start.
I don't know what vbsam16 intended, but when videos are set up this way, I assume the link should not be posted to a public forum given the YouTube policy on copyright strikes. As I stated already, I found the video embedded on another public Longhorns message board. I had no idea if it was the same video others here were invited to view privately; I attended the match, so I had no need to ask for access to the video. Since an hour or so ago, the video that user posted (not the same username as vbsam16) now reads "this video is private". Again, don't scold the messenger. Whether that video was posted on a different public forum or this one, it was posted for public viewing. I just want to clarify, it was not public, it was only viewable by a link. If you would have read a few pages back you would have known this. |

No one had a bad intention. You took the time to film it, edit it, and post it, and in an effort to keep it from getting out too much delisted the channel. Someone you gave the link to wanted to share it with others on a Longhorn forum. They shouldn't have, but there wasn't ill intent. Just poor decision making. Horns1 sees the link and copies it here in an effort to share it with people who hadn't seen it, not knowing it was your video. I blame horns1 for not taking his post down once he was told it was your video and you were trying to keep it private, but horns1 is going to do horns1. Saying a delisted video is available for public viewing is missing the point. It was available for public viewing to make it easier to give complete strangers access to it, while delisting it so the whole world wouldn't be able to view it. Again, it wasn't bad intent by horns1, but I do consider it poor judgement. Not that that's going to make an impact. I would have preferred to be able to access the video later, but I think the folks who viewed it have managed to declare our national championship winning lineup based on it already, so I thank you for your efforts. Great content. I appreciate you going out of your way to provide it when you didn't have to. Not just the filming, but the time it took for you to edit and upload it, and then manage the DMs, too.
