R&B, Reggae and Country. I like it. I saw Devin in the UA game and thought dam her game looks so well rounded for a HS kid but said it’s just a HS all- star game. Another small sample in the scrimmage but her skills set as a freshman is crazy. I'm really excited to watch Devin develop over the next 4 years. For me, she is the most well-rounded player since Ashley Engle. She may not hit a heavy ball like Eggleston or Eckerman, but she sees the floor well, hits at a high contact point, and moves the ball around well especially hitting deep in the corners. And so far, I've been impressed with her ball control, serving, and blocking. I think she is going to be a great 6-rotation left pin hitter in our program!

Another roach coming out of the woodwork. Remember when you came to this thread accusing "Texas fans" of being cruel to Skylar Fields on Instagram with no basis for that accusation? Remember when you posted that Texas would be the last place that Akana would transfer to? You have to be the dumbest poster on this entire message board. You can pivot in any direction you want, doesn’t make you any less then a steaming pile of dook. Lol and like i did when you quoted me after her commit, if Akana was trying to start at Libero Day 1, Texas was not the place for it, still isn’t so I stand by what you said but I’m an Akana fan so I hope she learns a ton from Larson and Fleck and wins out from Halter next season. The only roaches I’ve seen here are you, photos, Holiday, and a few other bad ones. Say whatever you want but if we were to put positive/negative contributions on this board onto a divine scale, I know my ish isn’t going to sink on the negative side, you on the other hand…. babybacksets Do you need a break?

Unpopular take here: I don’t know vbsam, so I won’t assume any bad intent. But despite several announcements not to video the scrimmage, someone did, posted it and then it got out of control (briefly). If you think the athletics dept and the coaches don’t care what’s posted and that it doesn’t affect what they do, think again. I agree with nellynel - Sunday seemed more like a very structured practice, but the explicit request not to film was made for a reason (or reasons). If I were JE, I’d think about not even having a public O&W scrimmage next year. Talk about not being able to have nice things. I’m sorry many of you could not attend, but I seem to be in the small minority here who is bothered by all of this. ——- From 247sports.com: AUSTIN, Texas — As is the case with a lot of things regarding college football preseason practice, there’s a give-and-take nature when it comes to opening up workouts to the public, which is what Texas will do Tuesday with fans welcome to make their way inside the gates of Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium for the 7 p.m. session. The Longhorns aren’t going to waste an opportunity to get better with 18 days remaining until the season opener with Louisiana-Monroe, head coach Steve Sarkisian said following Monday’s practice, but they’re not interested in revealing everything they’ve been working on behind the scenes to put a product on the field that’s better than the one that led to a 5-7 finish in 2021. “Don't get me wrong, it'll be a good practice, but it'll be grandma's cookies without the secret ingredients if you know what I mean,” Sarkisian said. “It's going to be probably scaled down, watered down. I'd love to go out and show all of our stuff. The problem is with social media, people like to film and put it out there. Then I've got Joe from ULM watching Billy up in the stands filming our practice. That part is unfortunate because I'd love to show all the cool stuff we've been working on, but unfortunately, that's just the nature of the structure of it all.” ——

At the end of the day VBSAM did a great thing many Texas fans appreciated. The scrimmage should have been televised/streamed anyways.
Don’t let Horns1 fool you, he’s very active on this thread and knew that the video was being sent privately for a reason. He knew not to post the video on here, but him wanting to be relevant posted it anyways. This is not the first instance (nor will it be the last) that horns1 causes a problem.
I really wish there was a way for him to be removed from VT. He’s annoying AF.

VBSAM admitted to not being a Texas fan; that's why he had no problem filming the scrimmage despite the requests from The University of Texas at Austin and the Texas Longhorns Volleyball program not to film it. It was as lack of respect for someone else's private property; glad you admire that. Just because the scrimmage wasn't televised like we are used to that doesn't give anyone the right to do whatever they feel like doing just to appease a few beggars on this site.

You really do need help because you live a sad and pathetic life.

I really wish there was a way for him to be removed from VT. He’s annoying AF. IMO that's a terrible reason to remove someone from a community. Probably because I can be annoying AF as well. I do not believe for one second horns1 is lying. I do believe once confronted instead of apologizing and just deleting the post, he doubled down, because that's how he's wired. I doubt he gave the source of the video much thought. He saw it posted on hornfans, and he posted the link on here. It was an open link he posted. There was no easy way to tell it was a delisted video without doing some research. And truth be told that's not exactly a secure way to share a video. But it is a convenient way to share it without having to go through a lot of brouhaha. I honestly don't think this is that big of a deal, which is funny for me to say given how much I've typed about it. But I type a lot about a lot of things. It would be a big deal if vbsam was monetizing it. It would be a big deal if he didn't turn it to private as soon as it showed up on VT. It would be a big deal if it was a super secret practice two days before the Ohio State match. But it was none of those things. It was an open scrimmage after practicing for 5 days with 9 new players on the roster. With the last set not even filmed. That's now no longer available to anyone. One thing I can pretty much guarantee. No one is filming the Rice scrimmage and asking for DMs to send a link to the video.

You can insult me all you want; at the end of the night, you're still who you are, right?
