Does anybody have the individual passing stats from both of last nights games? I know Barnes started out pretty slowly but 3-5 was back to form.
Rettke also picked it up but she was stuffed 5 times for L'ville points. Kubik/Stivrins together are equal to Debeer/Stevenson on the block.
Wisconsin outsides need to stop with all of the tipping!! Fine, not every ball is hittable and not every set will give you a chance at a good swing. But do something with it instead of just putting it on the top of the net or handing it over to the setter.

it seems to me that all the pressure is on Wisconsin. pressure comes from being close multiple times but not having won one; from having dominated Nebraska and being expected to handle them again with like ease in the final; from a super class' last stand; ... Nebraska, on the other hand, has exceeded most expectations by a large margin. even if they lost in the final the season would still be considered a huge success. they've lost so often to wisconsin recently that they have nothing to lose (if that makes sense). would all of that play a part in the teams' and players' psyche? The point you make is not new, but it is thought provoking for many of us. Me included. Though in answer to your question, I leave on of my favorite Badger team quotes... “Pressure is a privilege.”

I can't help but wonder who the fans of the other former national champions are rooting for. Do they want to keep the membership in the exclusive Natty Club to 11 teams? Or do they want Wisconsin to keep the Huskers from adding yet another title banner to the wall at Devaney? I would guess that most non partisan fans are pulling for Wisconsin to achieve their final breakthrough.

NOt so sure about that, Sheff between sets 2-3 when he was interviewed said they needed to start actually hitting the ball instead of just giving it up. This has been a season long issue, 4 years in Loberg's case.

They say the third times a charm! I hope that holds true for Nebraska! 😼 This is also the third time for Wisc trying to win a natty. So I hope it doesn't hold for them, in that sense.
There are more deserving, more established programs in front of them in the line. They need to step back.
I like your post and I understand 🥰 ; but I Believe no one should step back and all should work their hard4st to achieve their goals!

I have to wonder how Hames feels the morning after after a match like last night where she is hitting the hardwood and sacrificing her body on so many plays. I guess at that young age you roll with it. Wonder how Knuckles face feels today? Concussion protocols being followed for her I wonder? OUCH!!! Saw her in some random club tourney, like game 3 of 4 on day 2 of a 3-dayer and she was diving all over the place. She's hit the floor more than Fred Astaire

We should be respectful of what others said while expressing their feelings! You know the woes our Football program is going through! So just keep digging and working at it!

Rettke's gotta win one, right? I mean 6'8" with 6'9", Hilley holy cow plus Robinson, who is uber bad-ass? How does that combination not yield a title?

I wonder if diving Liberos with good ball skills can fool you. I wonder if the best liberos anticipate and are in position therefore they don't have to dive so much. I don't watch the international pros enough to know whether this is a valid take. I'd imagine position and an effective block that can funnel hits to a well-positioned Bro makes a HUGE difference as well

I can't speak to the effectiveness of differing styles (I'm sure it depends a lot more on the individual players), but I can say a number of hard to believe digs and saves during the Wisconsin Louisville match had me up off my couch!

Neither of the Nebraska outsides seem to be especially strong blockers. that’s why Wisconsin is such a bad matchup for Nebraska recently
