Rooting for Wisconsin because... 1) They aren't Nebraska 2) They aren't coached by John Cook (any more) 3) They haven't won a National Championship yet (though I'd rather the Gophers join the club before Buckingham) 4) I have Badger friends 5) Did I mention... they aren't Nebraska? You had me at 1). 4) was icing. |

Wisconsin:
1. As a gopher fan, I'd much rather have lost to the national champion than to the runner-up.
2. At this point I really like seeing somebody win it that hasn't won it before.
3. That Louisville/Wisconsin match was fantastic, and I couldn't help but feel it should have been for the national championship. I really feel those were the two best teams in the country this year, and would like the winner of that match to go all the way.

Wisconsin Carlini brought the team back to prominence and this has been a long time coming for them. It’s not a given though it should be a battle.
