Neither. This is one match where I genuinely do not care about the outcome because I wouldn't root for either team. Shoot, I should’ve included that as a third option in the poll! Or options like “dysentery” or “murder hornets.” |

Ok, there are at least 14 people that voted that didn't pay attention to the rules. **Wisconsin and Nebraska fans, please sit this one out.** Ummmm....Having a new champion or hearing about the "dream team" ad nauseam for the next umpteen years? Most of the country is over here low key jealous of the Big Red's recruiting, hype, fan support, and money. Ya'll really think that on top of all that we want to actually see you win every year!?  I can read and understand rules, so I didn't vote. Despite Washington taking out the Badgers easily in 2005, that was an easy choice for me in the finals. Glad the Huskies won. Then, of course, Nebraska got another the next year. |

Nebraska. This is what I wrote previously in the match thread:
I'm no big NEB fan, but as a Gopher fan who is going to be completely petty - I don't want Wisconsin to win a title before MN does - as tough as that may be to maintain given the strength of WI's program. If NEB wins, it's just a blue blood adding another title. So I'm rooting for the Huskers.
That said, it's all "in good fun" pettiness. If WI wins the title, I will absolutely congratulate them and be happy for the program, the players, and their fans and give my traditional "Kudos!" to them.

And a silver lining for a MN fan (or a fan of any B1G team who is rooting against WI) if Wisconsin wins is that it makes the conference even that much stronger and prestigious to have another conference member win a title. Granted, no conference has a huge number of schools that have won championships - very few teams have ever won. But still, the PAC-12 has four different members that have won. The B1G only has two - despite several other teams making the FF and/or final. Three looks even better. |

"Root" might be too strong a word. I'm pretty much indifferent to the outcome and just hope it's a tight, well-played match. That said, I have a favorite among all the players and that's Nicklin. She's been criticized a lot on this board and she's not very big, but the girl is a baller, for sure. She's like a combo DS-setter. Gritty as hell. And her eyelash game is second to none. So, I wouldn't mind seeing her do great out there tomorrow.

Thinking Nebraska will win, BUT I want Wisco to win bc I think it’ll be cool to add a new champion to the lineup of champions. Also tho make up for those close finishes! This is one of their best shots then they’re 30 year olds can finally go play pro volley!

I’m rooting for Wisconsin, although only barely. Both programs have passionate fans who give an amazing amount of support for their respective programs. Both coaches and coaching staffs are the best of the best. Both teams have players easy to cheer for. But Wisconsin hasn’t won it before. So I’m mildly rooting for the Badgers. I’ll be honest. I would have found the championship more compelling if it wasn’t 2 B1G teams. Congrats to that conference which shows year after year it’s at a different level, but it would have been more fun for me as a neutral fan to see either Pitt or Louisville (not both, because I didn’t want an all ACC either). ^ this. Agree. And I’m obviously a B1G fan and am happy what this says about our conference. But for entertainment’s sake… |
