Nebraska really did it this year. I don’t think many expected them to get here but they did and extended a team full of super seniors to 5! Man I can’t wait to see 2022 big red.
And chiiiiile if Hord is coming on board, my word. She better come to Nebraska though. The training is top notch!!!! GBR!

Akana's gotta figure out zone 1 passing.. that was her weakness this whole season. I hope Knuckles stays... I think this was very much her best season she's played yet. Agreed about Akana, if she figures out her passing on SR more consistently, she becomes the best DS in the country I said what I said. Are you sure about that? She might not be the best DS on her team, even with improvement. It would also not be inconceivable that she was the second best ds in the country in that scenario. |

Nebraska really has an amazing coaching staff.. best in the college game!! That along with its facilities and fan base is reason for the top recruits want to play there.
Question for NU fans, have any of the players gotten endorsement deals?

0-5 if you add his 2013 one as a player and two as an assistant for BYU men in 2016 and 2017.

That statistic isn’t a coincidence, other than that Nebraska fans are the reason for 10 of the 11 NCAA largest volleyball crowds. |

I did laugh about a post I saw somewhere tonight saying Nebraska fans would go to North Korea to watch the Huskers play. Funny, but not altogether inaccurate.

I’m as confused as you are 🥴 No reason for confusion! She will be on campus soon for a visit is what I was told at convention. Y’all got a real good shot at getting her. Texas wants her BAD but they don’t pass the ball and set middle like big red. This makes sense if her goal in transferring is to further develop her VB skills and resume for a pro-career. Also the culture between PSU and NE is much more similar than at TX. And she gets to play beach in CA and HI. NE loses both starting MB's assuming Caffey does not stay, and I get the impression she is ready to move on. Edit additions: 1) Hord's degree is in Criminology and UNL has a strong criminology program. 2) This is weak tea but before NE played at PSU, Stivrins was asked about the challenge of playing there. She gushed on for over a minute about PSU, their fans and players. Contrast that with her pregame answer to the question about her respect for WI. Anyway it would seem NE would be a good fit for Hord. I'm sure she has many options. |

Are the players 'chosen' by the press, by the coach, or do they do it as 'volunteers'? Because I'm 100% OK with Caffey doing what she did. "The Badger block was awesome tonight... Kayla, how did it feel to try to hit into that awesome block?" "Umm... thanks, but NO!" I'm 100 percent OK with doing what Stivrins, Hames, and Cook did, which is to step up and actually try to answer the question that was asked. |
