Claire was an undersized decent pin hitter who struggles still with ball control. It was not at all unreasonable for Wisconsin to pass on her out of high school. Obviously now she’s really developed her attacking and has been great but her doing that her super senior year doesn’t mean Wisconsin should catch flack for not offering her out of high school lol

I never bought the too small line. It’s not like UW has not had similarly sized (or smaller) outside starting most years and into the future.

I really like Chausee (especially like the sound of her name when she gets a kill) and hope Louisville wins. But they have a mountain to climb. Texas was really hard for USD to score against. Interested to see what Chaussee can do against that block.

Was perusing uwbadgers.com and just wanted to note one last time that WI lost 3 close 5 setters -12, -13, -13, and one not-close loss. That's pretty amazing, actually, putting in a new system.

Really impressive season. I hope players use that as motivation for 2023. With every starter but Hart back Wisconsin should be in the title mix again.
