I never hear any discussions about Reed. If she was on the NT with Robinson and Crawford, then she must have the potential to be a great ds or libero for the Badgers.

So wait, Crawford is the same year as Demps/Robinson/Hamill/Reed, yes? So she’ll have two years of regular eligibility plus a bonus third COVID year.
Yaaaaaas.

Is it wrong that I want to keep Robinson in the middle and Smrek on the right? I think Robinson did a great job on the right her true freshman year, but I personally think she's just so much more dynamic in the middle. It's a conundrum. Smrek came into her own on the right. But I thought Robinson was better on the right than in the middle.

Great get by Wisconsin! She’s a quick middle that has a variety of shots at her disposal.

Yes, she was a 2020. Fans keep asking who will ‘sit’ but part of the reason this team ended up 4-1 or 5-1 in 5-setters was the competition in the gym since Jan 2020 and Jardine and Smrek came to push the vets.

Does anyone think Boyer was injured at the end of the season? Or was it the emergence of Demps that kept her on the bench?

Maybe immediately after the move to the middle, but i thought the last 6 or 7 matches Robinson was very, very good in the middle. she really got her timing down on the attack and her lateral movement is much better than Smrek when it comes to blocking. I think Robinson stays in the middle

Let's not forget Hart is a senior and there aren't any other MB in the pipeline for the future either.

Playing MB in the Badgers system is much harder than playing Opp. Smrek has a lot of work to do on her blocking to play MB over Hart or Robinson.

What about the other 6’7 player in the roster - Walhert I believe. Doesn’t she still have two years of eligibility? Keep looking for her to develop. She is graduating. She does have two years of eligiblity though. She was rs freshman and she has a Covid year.

Given how the Omarion (lol) and future variants are, isn’t 2022 a ‘travel’ year for the team? Wasn’t 2018 the Euro trip?
