Miliana Sylvester rated the 5th best MB in the state of Missouri, 30th overall, and she will only get better. At 6’2”, wonder if she grows a little more…. Yea she really should be one that the staff is actively after. Hopefully bring in another middle and Opposite along with her Considering Hawai’i is her dream school, I hope she does come |

The 6-2 is probably the height she played at last fall. It's been a year ago she was 6-2. Her Twitter has her at 6-4. It's not the size that got me excited though. Her club highlight was darn good with her quickness and athleticism. OTOH, Her high school videos are not that great. Could be her high school team is not that good. I still think she should be target #1 because MB will be a position of need and that fact that she has Hawaii ties make her a good prospect.....along with her skill sets. Mhmm said it when I first seen her highlight vids about her game. She’s going to be a good get for us if she commits! |

Adrianna is listed as a Setter on her recruit page but I think she was OH before. Grace is a middle but not sure if she’s already looking at schools outside Hawaii. |

Haiti is committed to Pitt Also Reese Diersbock is committed to UC Davis, Milan i think is going to play softball in college as far as her recruiting page is. Adrianna is listed as a Setter on her recruit page but I think she was OH before. Grace is a middle but not sure if she’s already looking at schools outside Hawaii. Ok so Grace is the undersized one for her position? Because tbh I wouldn’t mind an undersized middle for the sake of depth if they are REALLY good at playing the middle position. I think that’s one thing that I hope Amber’s legacy leaves is being able to be REALLY good at the position. If she’s more Akana bound where she needs/wants to be a pin, then prob not the investment needed by UH. But how undersized are we talking here because Adolpho was like 6’1”? Some programs are making the undersized but dynamic middle a part of their recruiting strategy |

Ah Mow and staff seem to like midwestern/southern girls. UH haven’t gotten any freshman from the west in the last 3 years. Don’t know if the coaches doesn’t think prospects from those areas fit her team or the coaches just see more talent in mid America.
Look at all the US prospects we got HS commitments from…Amber Igiede and Colleen Temple(Louisiana), Kate Lang, Mia Johnson and Georgia Via(Texas) Riley Wagoner(Ohio), Destiny Ndam Simpson and Stella Adeyemi(Nebraska), Caylen Alexander(Georgia) and possibly Mili Sylvester(Missouri). All are from mid America/South. Sure some changed their minds and went elsewhere but you can kind of see where Robyn and staff seem to target.
UH is probably not going after any local girls unless they are Devin Kahahawai type. Our Punahou hitter recruits in the past were underwhelming. Granato and Manu Olevao come to mind.

I thought Granato and Olevao were solid OH2 recruits but everyone has their own opinion. These days in CA club, not many of them are competing at the top of Open at the 17s/18s level. Some clubs like Coast are putting out consistently quality teams, but it seems like a lot of these clubs are just looking for where they can make $$$ and starting a bunch of satellite clubs and slapping the club name on it rather than one area club developing top teams year after year. May still be some diamonds in the rough out there but club volleyball in California is really turning into a money making exploit and less of a focus on player/program development |

At the end of the day the one thing we all know about Robyn is that you have to earn that spot and if you don’t cut it your out. You just don’t really know what Robyn is going to do! Amber for sure the rest is up in the air.
Love to be the fly on the wall during double days to see who is getting court time through rotations.

I wonder how much of a shot UH had. To me, it would have been a surprise if Adonia came to Hawaii. I’ve always thought she was LBSU all the way. |
