Would like to get Logan Tom. Is she not coaching the Israeli National Team anymore? A little “pie in the sky” but tbh would be exactly the type of offensive coach the program could benefit from. Did she and Robyn have any USA volleyball crossover? www.espn.com/ncaa/news/2000/0816/687977.htmlYes, Tom also has other Hawaiian connections. Hoping that this turns out like how Milan followed Siki to UH

Hawaii has the potential to be back in the national picture next year if all the returnees come back and with the addition of Adeymi and Hakas. We'll continue to be short on the pins, but as we've seen so far, Hawaii will compete regardless of size. Hakas especially is going to make a case for a starting spot on the outside. I want to say it won’t be that easy but match after match it seems like 2/3 of the pins not being very productive seems to be a limiting factor in most of the set losses…

Warmed up for USC. Appeared available. Did all the warmup drills. Looked ready for spot duty. Saturday's post-game show conjectured about the possibility of a three middle offense in the future (somewhat jokingly), so apparently they think she's playable. Could you explain how the subbing will allow three middles to play in a match? Igiede is a lock at MB1. Who subs for her in the back? Who comes in for Tiff? Is it Edmonds? Also you can’t use two MB2 interchangeably in a set right, someone has to sit? The only time I remember Hawaii used three middles in a match was with the 3Ms: Magill, Maglio, and Mitchem. Basically having another middle in at Opposite, hitting quicks and slides, and blocking. Hawaii ran this in the 90's with Bown, Jenn Roberts, Veronica Lima. Hawaii never ran this in the 80's. They just move Teee around, hitting from the left, right, middle and back row.

People already know you're crazy. Takes one to know one. So I guess you are crazy, also. At least I believe in the Wahine players, unlike yourself. Need to remember, you make it a habit to pick a player every season, and trash them endlessly. Or, maybe, it was Laura, who, was, doing, that? Or Steve? Are you, Steve, or Laura? I don't, know, who, I'm, talking, to, anymore.

Hakas is fantastic. She did pretty well against Croatia and Romania in the EuroVolley qualifiers. Tali does give me BVS flashback of BVS' senior year. Both are very good all around players. Both have cannon for an arm. Both are a little on the short side(Both listed as 5-9) and both are little more mature/experienced. I think Tali has it in her to be what BVS did for us. I like that she is also very fiery. Watching her and Amber with their screaming next year will be fun...LOL

They just move Teee around, hitting from the left, right, middle and back row. They also did this in the 2000s with Nohea Tano. Although she was an undersized middle (like Akana), she hit all of those things and the high balls on the right side. Her quick attacks were pretty fierce! She did a lot of damage in the Stanford match with her slide attacks. That's why I'm surprised this year's team is not doing that type of offense more - although I do see Akana attempting some quicks at times. But at the junior level - she was very fast on the quick attacks and slides. I'm thinking they may need another middle blocker on the right side since right now, defensively, it can be vulnerable. The 90s offense with Lima was interesting though - because she could take swings on the outside and still produce. Those were fun times!
