But seriously do you think Fischer would have left if she knew Madi would leave? Can’t remember the timing. Or was she not a real option at OH? |

Or was she not a real option at OH? I don’t think she was ever a real consideration. Im not even sure she’d play this year (because we are obviously going to be getting a transfer OH) |

Really underwhelming off-season so far for skinner and company. Seems like all the momentum from the championship is gone and next year could be a step back.

Really underwhelming off-season so far for skinner and company. Seems like all the momentum from the championship is gone and next year could be a step back. I’m actually hoping for some positive momentum, it’s good for VB and good for the VB to have more teams outside the B10/PAC-10 being in the mix for a F4. I root for the B12 and will still, but UT, Kentucky, Florida will make a pretty strong top of a conference and the SEC has more momentum building programs in the bottom - middle than the B12 right now. |

Has Kentucky ever been a team that has been aggressive in their transfer portal usage? I can’t remember a time where they ever really got a big name or were seeking one out of the portal prior to this year, to their credit they have been really good in developing their recruits so they maybe haven’t needed too regardless

I can’t remember a time where they ever really got a big name or were seeking one out of the portal prior to this year, to their credit they have been really good in developing their recruits so they maybe haven’t needed too regardless Back when it began they picked up Leah Myers grad student from Duke. |

You have Tealer coming back right? In the few matches I’ve seen, she really stood out.

It's great that UK finally made it to its first ever Final Four after so many close calls over the last 30 years; and, it's great that UK won its first national title, and the first for the SEC; they earned it, and I have NEVER stated otherwise. As for the future, someone just posted above about Kentucky NOT capitalizing on that national championship. Somehow, Texas managed to swoop in and gain verbal commitments from 2 of the best 2023 recruits in the state of Kentucky. And, now we are taking Madi Skinner from Kentucky via the transfer portal. Can't wait to join the SEC in a couple of seasons! |

Lol why are you so pressed in a Kentucky thread. We’ll be just fine. Skinner has built this program from nothing, led us to a title, and is now recruiting at a high level landing top 10 classes in 3 of the last 4 cycles. One rebuilding year where we should still be pretty good isn’t the end all be all you seem to be hoping for.
