There are a lot of things I hate, but not much more that I hate than OSU being good at v-ball.
We'd better win the rematch in 3 weeks.

How many times do they play each other this year? Yeah, not entirely sure why I said that. Whatever the case, F OSU, and I'm sure I'll be insanely pissed off come the night of Saturday, October 29th after seeing us lose not one but two sporting events to OSU in one day. F OSU. All day, every day. Always. |

After watching today we don’t have what it takes to be a contender in the big. PSU will be interesting to see at the end of the season. Their coach has done and good job with the new mixed with the old.
PSU has a good young group of players and we have nothing

I thought you were a Penn State fan, first and foremost, but given your use of "we" I guess my assumption was wrong -- you must be an Illinois fan. |

I think Penn State might have found something in Markley, the question is, can she sustain that, and shell get her chance to prove it on Friday @ Nebraska....
one of two things can happen, she can go off and have a ridiculous match, or she could be a freshman. it will be interesting to see how it unfolds

I think Penn State might have found something in Markley, the question is, can she sustain that, and shell get her chance to prove it on Friday @ Nebraska.... one of two things can happen, she can go off and have a ridiculous match, or she could be a freshman. it will be interesting to see how it unfolds Well, I don't know what qualifies as "being a freshman" (or "having a ridiculous match" for that matter) but what if she had a match where she has 10 kills in 25 attacks, with the same 3 errors, so she hits .280. That's not bad at all. Solid. Not "ridiculous" but not particularly "freshmanly" (if I'm understanding either term). |

Russ Rose said after the 2010 championship match that the final game was the first time that all three freshman had been playing good that at the same time; (Katie Slay, Deja McClendon, Ariel Scott). That's the nature of freshman players. That said, I sure like the way she's been playing and getting better every match. |
