In my opinion, Creighton's prospects of being better in 2022 than 2021 depend on: 1. the return of a fully recovered Reinhardt 2. whether Freshman Ava Martin or Magill or a transfer can replace Zimmerman at OH, as Zimmerman may not be recovered by the beginning of the season 3. Whether Bolton or McCune or a transfer can establish themselves at libero

(Van Eekeren transferring doesnt help that either) I think a transfer libero is needed... Ellie was much better in the DS role than as a libero. Her passing was a bit too inconsistent to be the L.... I dont know much about McCune though. (A healthy Jaela really helps all of this though... her passing is so badly needed) 100% Kiara is going to be much needed as well. 2 walk on middles... is a bit nervy imo. I wish Welty was able to come back (but I dont think it'd work with scholarship amounts) I think Magill will slot in at opp. 6'5 will be a decent sized block... not like Creighton gets much offense from the right side anyways.

I'm guessing that Schmitt will be one of starting MB's, so they will at least have one scholarship player there. Keeley Davis might continue her role as the starting RS. Magill is the wildcard of the roster. She's 6'5, but she is also really thin. A year ago, I didn't suspect that Sis would be a good six-rotation player with good passing skills. Coach Booth mentioned once that Ava Martin is somewhat of a high flyer like Sis, so I'm intrigued to see her.

I will donate a ligament or two to Jaela. I'm 100 years past my prime playing days. Lord knows the kiddo could put it to better use than I.

She played the Taylor Wolf role for Palm Beach. I don't see her doing that for Creighton. I wouldn't be surprised to see her compete for the opposite spot while being the backup setter to Wait

I thought she looked familiar. She made the Hawaii trip a few years ago. I think she doubled up with Allie Havers.

It will be interesting to see if Magill can play. Not overly athletic, foot speed could be an issue and she has never had to jump at club or high school level. With weight training there may be a chance she can contribute but TBD.
