I get the hype behind this years team, and I’m right there with you. Final four potential? Yeah. But will they be in the final four? I doubt it. They’ve had the majority of their pieces for a couple seasons and haven’t done much come tournament time. I’m intrigued to see how much better they are with Blossom. Top 10 team I’m sure If Wiblin’s breakout season had aligned with Newton’s and Jacobson’s great senior year, I think that team would have made it pretty far in the tournament. I’m excited to see what Blossom can get out of this team. |

I am not ready to call this a final four team either. Let's see how competitive they show against the likes of Pitt and OSU. I will be watching to see if this group has some grit and the determination to grind it out in close matches against other good teams?

It is summer here in SD and everyone is at the beach staying cool and not paying attention to much more than the surf while looking good in the sand. But I have heard some rumors that there may be a couple of scrimmages for USD with some local teams and maybe a LA based school as well? I have nothing more than rumors to share so far. |

As good as Edwards is, she is probably the 4the best attacker on the team with Lukes, Frohling and Blackwell. Blossom will be the key they will be very hard to defend with all of their weapons.

That is good news to hear about a USD vs USC Saturday scrimmage. Hopefully they will allow some fans to come watch as well. Happy to leave the beach for a couple hours to watch those two talented teams go at it. |
