With the transfers of Schraeder to SDSU and Wilson to UCF, who will be left to be on the team? Who are the new recruits? Will the Seniors on this years team will hang around for the 2022 season?

UT article says Lukes returns. Another poster said Benbow returns but I never viewed original source. Don’t know about Madill (S) and Tastad (DS). Incoming Freshman, I believe two ds/liberos, a MB, and two OHs - Can’t remember where I got all of this. I can’t even find it on USD web page. I remember one of the liberos is out of NE. The MB Arizona, I think - maybe 6’4” and some kind of AA recognition. One of the OHs has AA credentials or top 50 recruit credentials as well. Probable line-up right now.
OH - Lukes, Pries. Bench - Hester and two freshman
Opp - Frohling
MB - Blackwell, Stoner. Bench - freshman
Lib - Benbow. Bench/ds - Jaworowski, two freshmen
Setter - Terçariol. Bench - Hoglund
It looks very solid. Even if USD manages some sort of upgrade at setter via the portal, internationally, or in-house player development, passing was suspect last season and needs to improve if they are going to contend for WCC title.

USD should be very good if they can get a top flight setter through the portal. Also another middle or OH would be helpful.
Another year with Lukes, Frohling and Blackwill has a lot of promise

Three high profile transfers to West Coast teams - Pukis (OR), McCissock (UCLA), and Meyer (LBSU). I’m not even sure there’s anyone in the portal now that would be an upgrade - the Oregon setter? Kansas? Unless there’s some diamond in the rough or some more entries, I don’t see anything coming this way. My guess would be they just focus on working with what they’ve got or they bring in another international.

Well not that it means much, but of those four - Robinson (OR), McGhie (KS), Glock (USC), and Blossom (PSU) - Blossom is the only one that I see has an insta follow from USD, which may or may not say something about who is not a possibility.

Awfully quite on the transfer front for the Toreros. If they can add a top notch setter and possibly another middle, they could make a lot of noise next year.
