dont know where to put this but ill put it here: this is the restored 1984 olympic final between the us & china. while the us got like stomped in the 2nd and 3rd sets, the quality is VERY nice and its fun to see some legendary volleyball players on both sides (hyman, weishoff, green & crockett are all hall of famers, and xilan & lang ping are probably two of the best players to ever play at their positions)

Can we please get an update on Megan Courtney-Lush?
Very quite about her whereabouts and involvement moving forward (for club and the national team). She has been steady if not improved in her gameplay and always seems to be a glue piece for every team she has been on, ever. Everyone needs a break sometimes to gain clarity and assess their own life goals, but I saw Olympian caliber for sure when she played with the National team in 2020 and 2021. I thought she was a lock for this quad's national team picture (and maybe still is as she is still pictured on the USA Volleyball website). Her passing is superb, and she provides the control and stability the team needs as an OH. Her athleticism is unreal as she jumps higher than most outsides and her reads on the game continue to impress on the world stage. I'd say that it is only her strength of attack that gets beat out by some other National team members, but how can she work on that without reps and serving as the Libero the last quad for USA.
I can't be the only one that is wondering what is going on here? IMO and I hope this doesn't make anyone upset - but she is a better control outside than Robinson. I know everyone really likes Kelsey and I do too, but I just think that Megan shows up for the team no matter her role and is the 2nd glue piece that USA needs. Megan or Kelsey paired with Michelle and another power hitting OH (i.e. Kathryn) on paper provide the balance needed to compete with the best. The S's, RS's and MH's all benefit when you have two elite passing outsides and a world class Libero (JWO) on the floor. If that doesn't spell USA system volleyball on paper, then I don't know what does. I hope she comes back to the team and puts herself in the mix for the World Championships (as well as MBH). If they still have the love for the game - I hope they return to the National Team asap. Any update on this coming pro-season for Megan and her National team plans would be appreciated.

hmmm i just realized that the USAV Cup and Pan Am Cup overlap.
I wonder if we'll see the wide roster for the USAV Cup (and a full B/C team to the Pan Ams)
or if they'll just bring the 14-16 for the WCH to the Turkey matches and send everyone else to Pan Ams
