They go by Ladyjacks, which might not be an improvement actually

For all the crazy travel Big 12 teams need to do why do they seem to have a bunch of Wednesday and Thursday matches?

Well this sets up an interesting situation. WKU will host Rice for the regular season finale. Then a week later WKU hosts the conference tournament.

They go by Ladyjacks, which might not be an improvement actually I don't see why "Lumberjack" can't apply to all genders. the "jack" segment of the name refers to the work being done felling and transporting the trees/lumber, not a name. But in any case, I'd defer to the actual athletes on the team as to what they prefer to be called.

It was interesting a few years back how WKU and UNT played like the last week of the season and UNT won on its own home court to win the regular season CUSA title but then WKU won the conference tournament on their home court.

Also, that’s an upgrade for WKU scheduling standards, but not by that much.
At least there’s Louisville. BG should be decent. Tennessee? Not sure how strong they will be. A&M maybe can surprise?
WKU could do soooo much more. Anyone ever talked to or heard about Hudson talk about his scheduling philosophy?

WKU could do soooo much more. Anyone ever talked to or heard about Hudson talk about his scheduling philosophy? I honestly don't think it matters unless they play and win against 1 or 2 top 25 teams. They just get hammered in the nitty-gritty for the committee to *justify* them not getting a seed, despite their record and aggregate RPI.

Western Kentucky plays Northern Kentucky in back-to-back matches. First in Bowling Green, OH; then in Bowling Green, KY.
