With UIW deciding not to join, and Lamar announcing that they are going back to the Southland this season, I would surmise that the WAC conference schedule will shift.

Lamar announced that they are going back to the Southland late last week. UIW announced they were not going to join about a month ago. So the WAC schedule was already set, so it will need to be amended. Plus there will now be holes in the Conference schedule.

Lamar announced that they are going back to the Southland late last week. UIW announced they were not going to join about a month ago. So the WAC schedule was already set, so it will need to be amended. Plus there will now be holes in the Conference schedule. Sounds like the perfect opportunity for Chicago State to get back into a conference, but, of course, it's the one conference that they JUST left. I wonder if the bad blood will prevent them being even an affiliate member for this season. |
