That is an excellent schedule from Bowling Green. They get Purdue early and if Purdue does rebound to be a good team that will be a big win. They weren’t that far off from being an at large team. They should have a chance this upcoming season. Though off the top of my head, I’m not sure what Ball State returns. Ball State and Bowling Green both return most of their starters. I could see the MAC being a 2 or 3 bid league this fall if the conference schedules well.

With most spring practices & games finished I would hope to start seeing more schedule drops over the next week or two. 🤞🏽

Based on last year's records. Kansas OOC w/l% of their opponents for this year would be .627. Last year's OOC record of opponents was .622. This year's would have 6 of the 12 teams inside the unadjusted top 75 which would qualify for the scheduling bonus. However, 3 of the 6 were over #70 (also had #85). Last year Kansas didn't get the scheduling bonus. Last year, Kansas was 8-3 OOC. This year - Pablo would project them winning 8.3 of their 12 matches (slightly worse). They would be favored in 10 of the 12 matches. Temple is the poison pill in this schedule based on last year's records. Overall - this looks to be a good RPI schedule w/o having a lot of tough opponents. Utah is probably a dangerous team to schedule this year - as they could have a middling record inside the PAC. UCF at home as a prep for them joining the Big 12 the following year (Kansas lost to them last year on the road). I am looking to see Kansas being a better team this year.

Villanova is going all the way to LA to play Colgate and UMBC? The environmentalist in me is crying. It would make much more sense for them all to meet at Villanova.

Tons of the schools in the northeast fill their rosters with So Cal kids, so they fly out there to play in front of their families every few years.

Sure, that's the reason why USC wanted them in their tournament. Not that UMBC went 12-0 in their conference and Colgate went 15-1 in their conference in 2022. Villanova is generally upper half of their conference too, didn't have the best year last year. I know schools will sometimes choose to travel to destinations in kids hometowns at least once of the 4 years they are there, but, this smells a lot more like USC looking for some great RPI matchups that are easily winnable matches.
