The race for the play offs is going to be spicy!
Let us assume that Conegliano(46) will likely be the top seed.
Scandicci(42), Milano(39) and Novara(38) are going to qualify, barring a complete meltdown.
Perugia(9), Pinerolo(7) and Macerata(7) are battling it out to avoid relegation and probably cannot make the playoffs.
In my opinion, the following teams are still in the running for the last four playoff slots:
Chieri(36), Casalmaggiore(28), Bergamo(25), Busto A.(22), Firenze(21), Vallefoglia(20) and Cuneo(17)
However, when we look at each of these teams remaining opponents, with only 9 matches left in the regular season, some teams have drastically tougher journeys to tread on their paths to the playoffs.
Chieri: Firenze, Novara, Busto, Scandicci, Milano, Vallefoglia, Bergamo, Perugia and Pinerolo
Casal: Perugia, Conegliano, Novara, Macerata, Vallefoglia, Firenze, Busto, Pinerolo and Bergamo
Bergamo: Novara, Busto, Perugia, Vallefoglia, Macerata, Pinerolo, Chieri, Scandicci and Casalmaggiore
Busto: Vallegfoglia, Bergamo, Chieri, Pinerolo, Scandicci, Macerata, Casalmaggiore, Cuneo and Milano
Firenze: Chieri, Cuneo, Vallefoglia, Novara, Perugia, Casalmaggiore, Conegliano, Milano and Scandicci
Vallef: Busto, Milano, Firenze, Bergamo, Casalmaggiore, Chieri, Perugia, Novara and Macerata
Cuneo: Conegliano, Firenze, Macerata, Perugia, Pinerolo, Milano, Scandicci, Busto and Novara
Who has the tougher schedule and which four teams do you predict will make the playoffs? Shall we discuss? I'm headed to dinner but I'll be back later to see what everyone thinks!
Chieri and casa are locks imo. I like bergamo and I think they make it through as well. Busto can be good sometimes so I’m willing to take them because I also don’t trust herbots or drews
