I think most European pro leagues use points as the first ranking criteria, and wins as the second criteria? While the tournaments like CL use wins as the first criteria. But maybe there are some exceptions? Turkey uses wins. (I guess thats only who I was thinking of LOL) but actually you're right... France, Poland, and Germany both use points over wins, I didnt know that. gross. They use points and not the number of wins to reward those teams make it to the fifth set despite losing 3-2. This is especially needed by lower ranked teams.

I get that... but I see wins as more important (maybe its an American-ism.. since we dont use points for anything)

Wins honestly makes more sense. Say a team went five sets 8 times and lost every single time. Then they would have 0 wins, but 8 points, and be higher than a team that has actually won two matches (and therefore, earned 6 points).

However, you are not evaluating the fact that the two teams have played 8 games. So those who won 2 lost 6 and those who won 3 lost 5. Also, the second team won only in 5 sets.

MIAO is rumored moving to Pinerolo. After watching the awful "LEAP" movie of 2020, which brought bad luck to China, I think Lang Ping should be humble, coach a weak italian team and eventually try to replace Cai Bin. Her golden years in Jesi are over: she must hit rock bottom.
No Fenerbahce for her

MIAO is rumored moving to Pinerolo. She's already there.
I do agree the leap movie was bad.

Truly so awful. I feel like Lang Ping's energy is actually an unflappable calm and serenity. I'm a big fan of Gong Li, but it's hard not to see past her severeness and sharp edges. Plus the whole movie was live-action propaganda. Loved seeing some of the 2008/2012 era players come out on screen, though.
