Love to see a Subway series again. Yet wouldn't mind seeing the Yankees-Dodgers WS rivalry rehashed either. Either way, I think both the Mets and Dodgers won their series against the Yanks this year so it may not look good for us either way.  |

Dodgers shut out the Mets 8-0 in game 3 to take a 2-1 series lead.

Yeah, I think we're just outgunned. I really wish baseball had a salary cap and/or the team got sold to an owner who will actually spend money. I know Dan Gilbert isn't the most popular owner, but I'd love to see him take over the team because he showed with the Cavs that he'll spend. |

Clase blew the save (to be fair to him, it wasn't like that pitch that Skubal grooved to Lane Thomas--Judge just has ridiculous power to go opposite field homer with a 99-MPH pitch on the outside corner), and Cleveland found a way to win anyway. So at least they won't get swept, but I still think the Yankees advance.

Here is Jhonkensy Noel's game-tying homer that saved the season for now: Not only is it an absolute bomb, but that is an elite bat flip. On a scale of 1 to Jose Bautista, I'd give it a solid 9. |

Mets stay alive by beating the Dodgers 12-6 in game 5. Series headed back to LA. Dodgers up 3-2 in the series.

Due to the Mets victory the world series will now start on Friday 10/25. Saw a blurb about how the series would start on Tuesday 10/22 if both LCSes ended by Saturday 10/19.
