The only comforting thought is that this WS did not hurt as much as the 2004 ALCS. Hard for me to feel bad for the Yankees. Yeah, they blew a 3-0 lead to their rival. But they had just won the World Series in 1996, 1998, 1999 and 2000. |

Yankees are done. Only 1 MLB team has come back from a 3-0 deficit, the 2004 Red Sox. And Roberts, the Dodgers Manager, was on that 2004 roster.

Teoscar had the ball in his glove when Stanton touched 3rd and the 3rd base coach said "yeah he's got this, easy" Love Teoscar. Ohtani was the obvious addition, but Teoscar has been the heart and soul all year. Then the lowkey addition of Edman kept them humming late, especially since Rojas isn't durable enough to play every day. |
