Rookie attempt at creating a post. Felt this team deserved a page for discussion. Could be a very productive year for a team that produced results when many of the starters were just freshmen last season.

FSU has decent offensive weapons. Key will be a setter being able to duplicate what Tessier did last year. Setting determines how far this team goes. The ACC should be very strong next year, again.

I agree. I think setting will be a huge factor. So far, from what I've seen and heard, Pitchford is setting a faster tempo and the hitters are responding. In spring season they beat Mississippi State and Florida pretty soundly. And this is without Dupes in at libero or any of the transfers. Adding Andjelija (Jelly) from UMBC is a good add to get back to running a 6-2. She was on the America East All Championship Team and All conference. She's very precise and runs a much faster tempo than Tessier.
