He decommted last week, word had started to leak out. As far as the reasoning, only Sean will know. Most kids have an idea whether they can make it into a school like Princeton before they get too far into the process. It could be he isn’t thrilled with the coaching staff since the assistant left right after the season. My money is on UCLA. I also heard he's going to ucla |

Well Koavball last week said we got a commit on a big time hammer. Don't wanna speculate but it's interesting he decommitted last week as well. Now whether it's him or not tbh I just wish him the best. What a talented athlete and will be a great player for whatever team he chooses.

didn't take long to turn into a hawaii thread... It would be a surprise to me to see him change but if he did I think it would be for UCLA. He seems like he is very thoughtful and he was one of the last top recruits if not the last one to announce so to change now is odd. And... Sean Kelly does not need to put out a highlight video to find a team that is interested, you people are hilarious... Sean Kelly can pick a team, text the coach because he absolutely has everyone of their numbers if he saved them from 18 months ago the day of teh recruiting deadline when his phone blew up and have a full scholarship offer faster than it took me to write this post. Too be honest, that video is better than most guy's CVs for a pro contract solicitation. He is definitely good enough to go straight to pro, not that I think he is going to do it. I was a little bummed to find out he was going to Princeton because it meant less chances to see him play live against the local teams but I look forward to seeing him play his last year of juniors once he gets healthy again. Not sure Hawaii will meet the academics he is looking for (not a knock on Hawaii, just a note). If I had to guess, it's UCLA/Stanford/USC, with a heavy lean on UCLA. |

Oh if that’s where his family has been academically then Hawaii doesn’t have a chance. I love the program and it’s definitely one of my favorites, but no doubt Kelly is looking somewhere with more rigorous academics. My hope is UCLA but wouldn’t mind seeing Stanford and USC both make big jumps with him on the roster. I think USC would make a pretty insane pin trio but they need the setting. However idk how much the potential to win big is a major draw for the draw for Kelly. Might just be looking for the right fit. |

Does Kelly play right side or left side? If he plays left side, how is his passing? Left side and he was captain last 2 years for the U19 team during the international games, so he basically never gets off the court. Also, was voted Best Spiker in 2022 and 2023 at Pan Am Cup, MVP in 2022. |

Volleyball wise he would be a good fit for Hawaii. Playing with Tread and Finn and replacement for Spyros.

So if he was going to Princeton because of Lindsay, maybe he'll end up at Loyola since she's there now. |
