We’ll see. Their MVP last year was Gooch. "Hold my beer" ~ Rowan Rowan couldn’t butter all the sets without a great passer in Gooch so no.

If Gooch was the critical component, than maybe UH has a shot this year. That seems like the hope of a few UH fans.

So you are telling us that if you had to pick Gooch or Rowan you would pick Gooch and go with a different setter. Who would have set? Did you see Rowan five days after Partain left against Long Beach. He won the game on the service line. He has so many weapons. Agreed that Knight and Champlin passed the ball really well last year. Gooch was outstanding. However, without Rowan it would have been a different story. Without Gooch I would have Rama, Champlin and Knight in the back row passing.

So, the guys that committed already were early acceptance? Just wondering how UC schools work? How did some of the 2025 kids commit then? With standardized tests being optional doesn't it make it easier for these guys to commit?
