Well, with the recent trend of PV, the rankings will fluctuate after schools pick up recruits. I am anticipating a massive wave of 2024 recruiting in the spring now that programs know what their needs are after the portal closes on the 11th (of course there will also be a May session as well). Prepvolleyball really has no idea where most of these kids actually rank. The rankings fluctute and go up massively AFTER a school picks up a recruit. Expect massive changes to this list over the next few months especially end of April as the club season slows a bit. Also noted that there are several committed 2024s who aren't listed on the Master Commitment List and therefore aren't showing under the schools list of commits either. Actually they are attached to their committed school if they are ranked. The master committed list will update in a few weeks with the updated rankings that are being done this month. |

What I don’t understand is how a school with one recruit, even one deemed top 20 by PV, creates a top recruiting “class”. They have ONE player. Even if the PV ranking was somehow accurate, one player is not going to have the same effect as 3-4 top 100 recruits in a single class. How can a top “class” be one person?

Because PrepVB has become a joke since Tawa left. I haven't even looked at any of their lists in years. Half of what they post isn't even accurate. It's sad to see what has become of the site. And I am really glad to see Tawa doing some coverage for VolleyballMag. It's still top-notch quality, even if less frequent. |

Anyone hear of any D1 2024 commits as of late? It has been very quiet from what I can tell. Let me know if you hear anything. I'm sure things will be heating back up soon!

Their rankings were always a joke. That site was a scam to get money from volleyball parents. Rankings are always subjective,but looking at where the kids are committing there is at least some credence to their positions. |

It should be "the Ohio State University". They didn't trademark the word "the" for nothing. As someone born in Ohio and with many, many Columbus dwellers amongst my relatives, I can assure you: very few call it "the Ohio..." other than current students. And maybe employees or enthusiasts. |
