Because Pukis set poorly in the 2nd set, with lots of missconnections. They went to a 6-2 in the 3rd, and Ferreira played very well.

I agree. Pukis was not at her level from last year. Hopefully she improves.

This Beach team will do well this year. They made me a fan. They are very good defensively, and Chacon is a beast. Such a smart player. She and Brooke both play a similar style imo. Ducks didnt play their A game, but just well enough to win with a little luck on that net serve ace at the end. I was very impressed by Colyer. Will be fun to watch her this season.
