A very steady and consistent PSU beat OSU in 4 sets. At times OSU lead in every category except hitting percentage. The pins just make too many errors. Need to clean those up. However, they might have been a bit sore and tired from the 5 sets against LBSU the day before. But it's the best I've seen PSU play in the last few years, though I only have watched them once or twice a year. They look like they will have a strong year in their conference. The Beavs on the other hand, look like they have a lot of work to do to get more wins this season. Need to figure out their setter and libero situation-as they keep changing them throughout their first two matches, and have better hitting efficiency. They have a lot of nice young promising players though-primarily a freshmen/sophomore team.

Ducks up two sets on PSU, both 25-12. Pukis only setting so far, with Mutiri in OPP. PSU's pins really struggling against the Ducks block. Something the Beavs did not impose on PSU.

Ducks finish it winning 25-18 in the 3rd. Both Nuneviller and Colyer hit over 400%.
