This really troubles you doesn't it but sadly thats how a view Democrats. The absolute need for controlis that your party has is very concerning. Demanding that those who don't share your view point are fired, cancelled or shamed? Sound familiar? Yep...because thats who you people are. You no longer worry about civil liberties or basic rights like Democrats use to champion. How many people and companies have you cancelled or demanded to be cancelled? Many! You have boycotted and shamed companies that even said one positive thing about Donald Trump? Do you realize how effed up that is? You applaud a run-a-way DOJ who now has lied to the public what their intentions were when raiding Donald Trumps home. You applauded having Manafort be in leg shackles and in solitary confinement, an old man? It wasn't good enough just to be imprisoned...right? You hate Roger Stone and you especially hate anyone who has supported Donald Trump? Your party is headed quickly in the direction of what Germany was during that dark time and none of you see how sick you really are? What an absolute mess you Democrats are. The DOJ has not made any public statement about the warrant, or about the reasons for the warrant being requested. Not one word. not true....thats what they shared with Trumps lawyers.

YES! Vaccine mandates have been around for over a 100 years. What planet have you be on? Immunizations requirements have been mandatory for going to public school AND to serve in the military. It still can be voluntary. If you have serious convictions about not getting vaccine, you are well within you rights to not get one. And people did just that! You can complain all day about the consequences and how unfair is all you want but you got a choice and you were free to make it. So stop comparing that %*$# to someone born of Jewish descent who's either killed or soon to be in a concentration camp to Karen who is mad that she can't go on her annual trip to Maui because she refuses to get vaccinated. Or Nick who can't keep his cushiony job at WSU as the head football coach because he won't get vaccinated. Who do you think had the harder life? A Jewish person in a concentration camp or Nick who lost his job because he doesn't want to get a vaccine? I don't care at the end of the day what you think about vaccines but stop comparing it to the Holocaust and persecutions of Jewish people. It is not even remotely the same and you know that. This really troubles you doesn't it but sadly thats how a view Democrats. The absolute need for controlis that your party has is very concerning. Why are you bringing Trump up? I could give two %*$#s about that guy and the mess he made for himself. I understand you want to deflect badly because comparing anything to the Holocaust is deplorable. Trump got vaxxed and boosted. Probably the only selfless thing he ever did. Tried to tell his MAGA-idiots to do the same and they booed him.

But if I worked for somebody who made such a rule, they wouldn't have to fire me. I would quit. Must be nice to stand on principle, without income, health insurance, etc. Especially if supporting your family. Seems not right in some sense that the employer can just make up whatever silly rule they want, though?? Obviously you'll never agree, and don't have to, but quite a lot of people felt that way about being required to wear a mask at work or get a vaccine. You'll force yourself to come up with a way to say it's different, that their feelings don't count, etc.

If they decide “hey, our workday is going to be 12 am - 8 am” they can do that. They can make dress code rules. And on and on. Especially when anti-union and “right to work” states exist. That’s what happens when unions do not exist and “right to work” laws are passed. Anyway, kind of beside the point here, but Trump pushed so hard for vaccines, and he was upset that they weren’t out before the 2020 election. Yet many trump supporters are anti-covid vax.

I mean, that's poverty wages, right? I bet he drives an Uber and waits tables to make extra cash with such a tiny nest egg. Anyway, let me explain again. I. AM. IN. A. UNION. I have protections that non-unionized people don't have, although I stood on a picket line on strike in the middle of winter for 40 days back in 2000, so it's not like I haven't put a little personal investment into my union. I 100% support the right to unionize. So do you support unions? Because you seem to want some kind of protection against employers just making arbitrary rules. And unions give that protection.

And the single mother who puts food on the table for her kid working as a hostess at a nice restaurant, the manager tells her the job now requires her to wear a bikini top because that sells better. You're just as flippant about that, no doubt. Because you seem to want some kind of protection against employers just making arbitrary rules. And unions give that protection. This has absolutely nothing to do with unions. Common sense laws against unreasonable rules shouldn't be hard.

I LOL so hard about non-union conservatives who want "commonsense laws" restricting employers from treating employees arbitrarily when that's *exactly* what unions do. It's like saying "I am against the police, but we need a government agency that will patrol the streets and enforce laws." Or "I am against government interference in the free market, but we need Biden to lower those gas prices."

There's nothing wrong with unions. That's my opinion, anyway. But they absolutely do not preclude the need for proper laws.
Laws will always be, first and foremost, the correct, proper way to set norms in a society. If workers want to collectively bargain additional restrictions on their employers, that is their business, but it is not required.
No one would argue that just because self-driving technology is available (on some models), we therefore do not need any laws/regulations requiring any safety features in cars.

Rolovich now saying that when he felt doubt about taking the vaccine, he asked a priest, and the priest told him that feeling doubt was a message from God. Or something like that. I still call b*llsh*t on claiming that his Catholic faith is why he didn't get a vaccine that the Pope encouraged all Catholics to get.
He said he was given four options: vax, resign, medical exemption, religious exemption. He claims he could have gotten a medical exemption except it would have been a lie, so he tried for a religious exemption. It was ultimately denied, though he claims it was approved by HR and then denied by the Athletic Department administration.
When he had a 1-on-1 meeting with a professor of pathology and infectious diseases, he reportedly asked a bunch of standard conspiracy theory questions like "Does Bill Gates have a patent on the vaccine?" and "Does the vaccine contain SV40?" (If you, like me, wonder what SV40 is, it's another virus.)

I'm pretty sure it's a message from God. I should see a priest and get a religious exemption.

I always love the papal primacy--do what the Pope says...unless we disagree in which case, the pope doesn't matter portion of American Catholicism. Dude made a choice--and doesn't want to live with the loss of millions of dollars that accompanied that choice.

Win-Win-Win.
