What a difference a day makes for UW outsides: Hoffman: .417 and 17 kills Endsley: .526 and 11 kills Bush: .471 and 8 kills Keegan switched Hoffman and Endsley. That strategy seems to be working. Geez wiz, I remember suggesting that about a month ago but got nothing but flack in here. For crying out loud! |

-nice back row hit from Shannon; would like to see more of this; then we see Hoffman do same; and again
-so many of UW's first defensive touches have a lunging, desperate quality to them
-Leslie is going to have to work hard with Summers on her block
-Madi just hitting so smart
-that Summers put down was questionable

yea, i wasn't a fan of that throw from Sophie, but the up ref should have called the double before that throw

despite our passing woes this match, not many teams can take us down if our LS's combine for .450 hitting percentage.

I don't understand how the NCAA plans to defend any R1's in the post season this year. You got Summers palming and redirecting the ball to get a kill? Like girl keep goin at it if he isn't gonna call it, but this is setting R1's up for failure when the stakes are higher. They NEED to put out a directive to the up refs ASAP just to make sure it's being called consistently. You can't let players get away with that type of throw in one match and call a throw in literally any other match across the country. I. JUST. WANT. CONSISTENCY.

Endsley is the surprise for me so far this season. Then a rare miss from Madi and it's 13-9.

That play is why I do not like lines standing right over the corner. You cannot see the point of contact when it is close to the corner. The up ref had a better look.
