After the ugly loss Friday and the uglier set 1 on Saturday, I was ready to cancel my new Sling TV subscription and delete the GoHusky bookmark from my favorites. I've stepped back from the ledge now.
Arkansas is pretty good - so there's that. And Washington, under KCook, now seems to want to schedule tougher early pre-conference matchups. That's a switch from the conventional Husky wisdom of feasting on cupcakes in August. And, IMO, it's good for making a team better, especially down the stretch.
Let's not forget that last pre-season UW almost lost at home to Montana State. So early missteps can happen.
