Good news is we don't have to look at it tomorrow? Do we travel to Waco to play tomorrow? No, there's no video available tomorrow. We don't have to look at the floor, we don't GET to look at that floor.

Playing with Franklin in the RS and Demps on the LS. Robinson in middle now with CC. Definitely sloppier. That was the rotation when Franklin lines up in zone 2, and it's just easier to leave here there, as opposed to having her and Demps cross the court, one side to the other. It was noticable because they were stuck in that rotation for three or four points (grrr...) It looks like they're only doing that switch when Demps is in at Opposite (as opposed to Smrek or Robinson), probably due to Demps being comfortable hitting from the left (not sure if Franklin is more comfortable on the RS than Orzol as well). Doing that switch does make things much simpler in terms of your serve receive formation. The championship game last year actually had a really cool mini-class on the dangers of switching vs not switching in Rotation 1 (setter in back right). If you don't switch, you start with a clump of players on the left who have to get all the way across the court, which can be exploted (watch Lexi Rodriguez's serving run late in set 4) but if you do switch, you have two players hitting out of position which can make terminating the ball harder, especially in transition (see Demps' serving run in set 5). My guess is that all coaches will switch the two hitters if they think the players can handle it.

The announcer is struggling with pronunciation Smrek and Orzol. If he's even attempted Gutcekin, i didn't notice. LOL. And then he nails GG's name twice. Blows the easy ones and hits the hard one. Güçtekin***

I'm always hoping for a server to look over at Sheffield, get the zone indicator, and then shake him off, like a pitcher shaking off the catcher. Just to see the reaction.
