Boyer in sweats not warming up Boo All the more likely that Orzol and Franklin go 6-around. AnnaMac, people. Also Reed. I have always felt that Boyers disappearance from the squad last year felt like an injury of some sort. I understand there was heavy comp and system changes, but it felt like we should have seen her more. Sheff never said anything though. Will have to see if that continues. |

There's a bit in the Punzel book - I hope my paraphrase is close - that when Boyer went to the bench to make room for the Demps/Smrek combo, Barnes was upset with Sheffield that Boyer wasn't going to be there to help. Besides being interesting on its own, that shows it wasn't an injury, it was just a (successful) attempt to generate more offense, etc. |

definitely implies they will have 3 front row and 1 BR attacker in all rotations.
More a men's style. Something unusual for UW to have more attackers than blockers.
Izzy and MJ getting better, but expects it will be sloppy.
They will run with it for a while and see if it comes together.

I like it the court. I like what I’m seeing so far. Good to see Hart in, I guess GG rotated out at one point, but then came back in to serve? Did I see that right?

Not liking the pronunciations, but I suppose we have a few really hard names on this team. I haven’t even heard them try to call GG’s name yet. 🤣
EDIT: get GG right, but can say Smrek or Orzol even close to correct. LOL

The announcer is struggling with pronunciation Smrek and Orzol. If he's even attempted Gutcekin, i didn't notice.

Ok. Badgers up 19-8.
Robinson and smrek hitting RS, Hart and CC in middle. Franklin and Orzol playing around. GG libero, no DS.
Service has been good, bock has been good. Not seeing a whole lot of problems setting. Frankin is a big add with smarts.
