Ohio State is a really good squad hope this pre conference schedule doesn’t* shake their confidence cause they have no breaks coming up with the exception of maybe Tennessee. Definitely need to pass better, score in transition, make smarter plays, and the serving yikes the serving.

That was a slightly depressing ending to a really good series, massive respect to a great Texas team, just couldn’t hang with them all the way through….but I actually think there were many positives to take away for Ohio State over the two games but we just need to be a “cleaner” team overall if we want to take the next step and beat teams of that caliber.

I'm incredibly + pleasantly surprised to see how well + quickly Texas gelled! I think Texas today is better than what half of the regional finalists will look like in December.
For OSU... oy vey. Same as the last two years. So so so good in so many areas, but no real OH output. Something's gotta give.

Amazing weekend for the Longhorns. So much to be excited about (Logan, Madi, Emma, SKT, Asjia, Zoe, Molly-I mean they’re all amazing). Excited to see fewer service errors, too.
Six sets to the second middle isn’t going to do it long term.
That and just starting strong.
Few mental errors here and there are going to happen, but just keep drilling those mistakes.
Lots to be excited about.
OSU is great. They’re about one hitter short. Londot is great (and so are Podroza, Rader, and Murr) but she can’t do it all. I can see them being top 10 all season and elite 8 or better with the right draw. But I can also see them dropping a few matches they shouldn’t.

On anyone else’s schedule they wouldn’t be seen that way. |

Super excited to see who Kipp is lined up against in my opinion she is the best pin blocking RS in the country. Texas will be favored but it could be interesting. |

Stanford at Florida in Gainesville on Tuesday. We'll see if there is any hope. That is, Stanford better woman-handle the Gators, or I don't give them much chance against the loaded Horns. |
