That save by Landfair has to go to the vault.
It was in the third set and we were leading 11-5. The play was a 3rd touch hit over the net while she was sitting on her bottom.

I love how the announcers didn’t acknowledge the double sub at ALL until he went to say Mel set and hiccuped because she wasn’t in the game anymore

Husemann had a VERY nicely timed slide
Landfair nearly untouchable from the backcourt
Missed a few sharp angle shots
So good to see her healthy & ‘bouncy’
For all of the diving on serve receive that makes you wonder if they started out of position the passing has been quite good
We are going to be much more balanced this year and a real handful for opponents
Their service pace is improved as well.
A fair amount sailing long
It is going to be Great Expectations if we stay healthy

Wenaas quietly provides so much ball control and a balanced attack
CC did her usual
Ellie had some excellent swings tonight like I don’t remember seeing from her in years past

Booth with 7 kills on 11 attempts without an error. She is gonna be a big problem for the opponents if this is how she will play onward.

Watching the replay and seeing Minnesota players put any amount of power at all behind a serve just looks wrong.
