Another nice win for the Gophers 3-0 1 2 3 Minnesota 25 25 25 TCU 17 20 18 MVP for the weekend: Taylor Landfair. Best Setter Melani Shaffmaster. Best defender: Carter Booth. etc. Omgosh I fell asleep! Great win for the Gophers! Can’t wait to see how they fair about Texas |

After Texas taking six of seven sets AT Ohio State and the Gophers winning the B1G/B12 challenge this weekend (with WI losing to Baylor), I think there's plenty to be said and/or speculated about for Wednesday's match. That Landfair pipe set in transition is starting to look like a real dangerous option. I thought the gophers really brought it with their service pressure tonight too. Now to the big test on Wednesday… here we go!

I don't think Minnesota will beat Texas in Austin, given how the Longhorns played in Columbus, but they really have nothing to lose! It is a great test that will only help the RPI, and a win would be huge!

just getting around to watching this match. I love Landfair and honestly very surprised she is playing 6 rotations I don't have passing stats available, but from an eye test, she was best for MN tonight. That includes McGraw and Kilkelly. Edit: in regard to serve receive/passing. |
