I was curious and went to the WSU roster but damn 12 out of their 16 players on the roster are SR/R-SR/5th/Grad. How many of them are eligible and/or plan to return next season? That's a massive exodus and a lot to replace.

That's a massive exodus and a lot to replace. WSU loses both OHs, both MBs, Lib and top DS. Some of the others have eligibility remaining (and it looks like a clear path to playing time unless Greeny reloads in the portal/internationally). So will definitely be a new look team.

That's a massive exodus and a lot to replace. as far as I can tell they have 1 US recruit, a libero for 2025. They really like their international recruits and transfers it seems so why change what works? I’m VERY interested to see who they can recruit to replace these players though. Barbero will step into the libero position and that should be set. Golden, Martin, Ung, Claus, and Rubright (?maybe with medical redshirt) I believe should all have one more year plus the other non seniors like Barbero, Ryan, Juric, and Blažcová. Don’t quote me on this these are just my observations from the roster!

do the cougs move into the top 10? so proud of them! I don't think so. Minnesota's win over Oregon, very close, negates that possibility, imo. This week. The possibility 3 very unhappy teams head to Pullman for the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament, yeah, that looks like a distinct possibility! Pullman is a place where any win, let alone a win over a good Wazzu team, is a good one! I am prepared for a Wisconsin football loss, our hopes are on one last season of the Big Ten West division!

do the cougs move into the top 10? so proud of them! They for sure do if they beat Texas and Baylor this coming week. Washington State started too low in the AVCA poll, IMO, but they're rectifying all that now.

It looks like this team is really special after the wins at Baylor and then taking down the defending national champion Texas in their own house. Maybe people will finally believe how good this team is.

To the bracketologists out there ( trojansc), what is Washington State's ceiling? Could they potentially earn a regional host if they win the Pac-12?

Maybe people will finally believe how good this team is. I agree. Wazzu has had some bad luck in the tourney (tough draw @ USD last year, Timmer out the year before, COVID messing them up that spring season), and haven't had a premier win OOC the past few seasons, so it's really good for Wazzu to rack up 2-3 big wins this season and show the rest of the country what everyone in the PAC has been worried about.

I wouldn't even write of Wazzu getting 2nd in the PAC and still getting a regional seed. Their only loss is to an undefeated Louisville team (at Louisville). Their good wins: BYU/Baylor/Texas for top tier but Drake/Towson/Wright State are also Top 50 level wins. Combine that with the resume boosters they'd get from being 1-2 in the PAC, they have a real shot for sure.
